The Creighton men's basketball team visits No. 2 Villanova Saturday, Feb. 25th. 

The Bluejays are coming off of a gut-wrenching loss to Providence at home Wednesday. Despite maintaining the lead for the majority of the second half Creighton failed to stop the Friars offense as the clock ran down. Providence's Kyron Cartwright made the game winning 3-pointer with 2.2 seconds left. 

Creighton's Marcus Foster led the Bluejays with 18 points while Justin Patton added 17. 

Foster is averaging 18.6 points per game and recently scored a career-high 35 points against Georgetown Feb. 19th. Bluejays' Khyri Thomas and Justin Patton are both averaging in the double-figures as well.  

Defending National Champion Villanova carries a 26-3 record on the season. National Player of the Year candidate Josh Hart averages 18.7 points, 6.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game on 50.3 percent shooting from the floor. Wildcats' Kris Jenkins leads the BIG EAST with 78 three-pointers this season. 

Villanova leads the all-time series with Creighton 8-2. 

No. 23 Creighton (22-6, 9-6 BIG EAST) faces No. 2 Villanova (26-3, 13-3 BIG EAST) Saturday, Feb. 25th. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. CST at the Pavilion.
