Creighton women's basketball picked up their first win this season in their home opener Thursday night, beating Drake in a close 80-77 victory.
Junior Myah Mellman lead the Jays with 18 points off the bench. Brianna Rollerson also posted her second straight double-double, finishing with 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Creighton now has a little time off before heading to the Bahamas next Friday night, taking on No. 25 Missouri in the Junkanoo Jam.
