The Creighton volleyball team had its recruiting class named in the top 25 by PrepVolleyball.com for the second time in three years. This year, the Jays come in at No. 25.
Creighton's class is highlighted by Omaha-native Steph Gaston of Papillion-LaVista High School. Gaston is the No. 99 recruit nationally according to PrepVolleyball.com.
Gatson will join Naomi Hickman of Lawrence Kansas and Alexa Roumeliotis of Atherton California. Hickman comes in just one spot ahead of Gaston at No. 98 in the PrepVolleyball.com Senior Ace rankings.
Last season, the Jays finished with a 29-7 record, an undefeated 18-0 in BIG EAST play, and made it to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament. Creighton returns five All-Region Performers in 2017.
