For the fifth straight year, Creighton volleyball has been picked to win the BIG EAST conference by a vote from the league's coaches.
In addition to the team's recognition, Lydia Dimke, Taryn Kloth, Jaali Winters and Brittany Witt were named to the BIG EAST's Preseason All-Conference team, with Dimke taking home Preseason Player of the Year honors.
Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own teams, and Creighton was a unanimous pick.
The three-time defending league champions return five starters and 11 letter-winners from 2016. Last season, the Jays finished with a 29-7 record, won the BIG EAST regular season title and made the fifth-straight NCAA tournament appearance.
