Creighton volleyball ranked ninth in preseason AVCA poll

The American Volleyball Coaches Association released the preseason Top 25 Wednesday afternoon. The Creighton Volleyball program is ranked No. 9 in this years Top 25 poll. 

This marks the fourth time in five seasons that the bluejays have earned a spot in the preseason poll. Creighton has spent 20 previous weeks in the top-25 of the rankings during the course of the past five seasons. Last year's squad was ranked eight different weeks. 

Last season the Bluejays advanced to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament for the first time. Top returners include Lydia Dimke, Taryn Kloth, Jaali Winter and Brittany Witt. 

Creighton is also ranked eighth nationally in the Prep Volleyball preseason poll.
