The Creighton women's basketball team won its seventh-straight game with a 67-57 win over Xavier Friday night. The Bluejays are now 21-6 overall and 15-2 in the BIG EAST while winning 17 of their last 19 games.
The key players for the Jays were Brianna Rollerson and Audrey Faber who scored a combined 29 points and 17 rebounds. With the win, Creighton moves to within one win of at least a share of the regular season BIG EAST title.
The Bluejays will wrap up the regular season with a matchup against Butler Feb. 26. Butler is 5-23 on the season and just 2-15 in BIG EAST play.
Following the regular season finale with the Bulldogs, the BIG EAST Women's Basketball tournament begins March 4th with the first round of action and wraps up with the BIG EAST championship game March 7th.
