Marissa Janning & Sydney Lamberty combined for 34 points as the Creighton women's basketball team beat Georgetown, 67-59, Sunday afternoon in the nation's capital.
Janning scored 18 while Lamberty added 16 as the Jays improved to 17-6 overall and 11-2 in the BIG EAST.
CU is back in action next Saturday at home against Providence. Tipoff from D.J. Sokol Arena is set for 1:00 p.m.
