LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) — Although both programs now have different coaches, a few Nebraska players still remember the 2017 upset loss to Northern Illinois in Lincoln that set the wheels in motion for Scott Frost's return.

"Last time they were in here they put our face in the mud," said junior cornerback DiCaprio Bootle. "And they left happy. So that's also something we've got to be mindful of."

"When I look back at that loss, I just think we didn't give them the respect that they deserve," said senior linebacker Mohamed Barry. "I feel like practice was very loose that week. Every team we face this year, we are going to give them their respect"

The Huskers host the Huskies on Saturday starting at 7 p.m. at Memorial Stadium on FS1.
