Nebraska is coming off a series victory on the road over Cal Poly, taking 3 of 4 and the Huskers also got a mid-week victory over Kansas State. Indiana swept Northwestern in Evanston this past weekend to get off to a 3-0 start in Big Ten play.

The Huskers are hitting .259 as a team and are led by Angelo Altavilla (.366), Mojo Hagge (.333) and Scott Schreiber (.326). Hagge enters Friday with a team-high 21-game on- base streak.
The pitching staff has been effective with a team ERA of 3.44 led by Jake Myers (2.01) and Jake Hohensee (2.08). Sophomores Jake McSteen and Robbie Palkert have been the most effective out of the bullpen with a sub 2.00 ERA.
Indiana has hit 28 homeruns as a team and comes into the weekend with a team batting average of .270. Luke Miller, Alex Krupa, and Matt Gorski have combined for 67 hits, 9 HRs, and 33 RBI.
