The Huskers' offense exploded in a game against in-state rival UNO and grabbed a 13-2 victory, sealing the series victory for Nebraska. The Huskers improved to 24-15-1 overall this season.
Nebraska's Jake Schleppenbach and Luke Roskam each tallied four RBI in the game against the Mavs. Schleppenbach's RBI's came from a grand slam in the bottom of the fifth inning. UNO's pitching struggled as the Huskers went yard four times in the game.
Huskers' reliever Ethan Frazier grabbed his first win of the year at the mound. UNO's Corey Binger picked up the loss, moving his record to 3-8 on the season.
Perhaps the best play of the game came in the top of the eighth when Nebraska's Mojo Hagge made an incredible diving catch.
