Nebraska baseball clinched the series win over Big Ten leaders Minnesota after a 9-4 victory in Sunday's rubber match. The Huskers improved to 23-15-1 overall this season and 7-4-1 in Big Ten play.

Nebraska's bats came out hot as the Huskers grabbed a 5-0 lead heading into the bottom of the fourth. Minnesota put together a rally of its own in the bottom half of the inning, scoring four runs and cutting the Huskers' lead to one.

The Huskers were able to add an insurance run in the top of the seventh and some extra padding with three runs in the top of the ninth before closing out the game.

Jesse Wilkening led Nebraska's offense with three hits, including three RBI and a home run. Three other Huskers had two hits a piece.

Up next for the Huskers is a battle with in-state rival UNO at Hawks field Tuesday at 6:35 p.m.
