Nebraska baseball had its final two games of the weekend rained out, but not before splitting a two of the four game series with UC Riverside.

In game one of Friday's double header, the Huskers fell behind 4-0 early and could not make a full recovery. Nebraska rallied in the fifth inning with an RBI single from Jake Meyers and a two-RBI single from Scott Schrieber, making it a 4-3 game. However, UC Davis reliever Alex Fagalde recorded his first win of the season after a six-strikeout performance.

In game two, the Huskers responded with a 5-4 win thanks to a two-run eighth inning. Jake McSteen picked up the win for Nebraska on the mound after 2.2 innings of perfect relief.

Catcher Brady Childs recorded three hits, an RBI and a run scored for the Huskers in game two of the double header. Center fielder Jake Meyers recorded two RBI's on one hit with one run scored.

Nebraska will head back to Lincoln for the week before heading back to Arizona Thursday for two games against Oregon State and two matchups with Utah. The Huskers first game of the weekend is Feb. 23 vs. Oregon State with first pitch coming at 2 p.m.
