Nebraska baseball head coach Darrin Erstad announced Thursday afternoon that junior pitcher Reece Eddins will miss the remainder of the season. Eddins is scheduled to have Tommy John surgery next week.

This season Eddins has appeared in seven games pitching 10.2 innings. He is 1-1 on the season with a 5.91 ERA.
Eddins played a key role in Nebraska's bullpen last season making 26 appearances. He also ranked second on the team with a 1.85 ERA over 48.2 innings.
