Three Huskers baseball players were selected on the final day of the MLB Draft. NU pitcher/outfielders Jake Meyers and Luis Alvarado were both taken in the 13th round Wednesday afternoon, while outfielder Scott Schreiber went in the 26th round to the Tampa Bay Rays. The Olerud Award Finalist Meyers was taken by the Houston Astros and was the first Husker off the board.

Alvarado was also selected Wednesday in the 13th round by the Seattle Mariners.
