We conclude our countdown of the 17 Husker headlines to know for Nebraska's 2017 season with our number one biggest storyline: Tanner Lee.
It took head coach Mike Riley just four days after NU's spring game to name Lee the starter at quarterback heading into fall camp. Lee looked impressive throughout spring practice, capping it off by throwing for 190 yards and three touchdowns in the spring game.
After sitting out last year due to NCAA transfer rules, Lee has yet to take a snap for the Huskers, but has seen plenty of playing time in his time at Tulane.
During his two seasons in New Orleans, Lee started 19 games while throwing for 3,601 yards and 23 touchdowns. Lee will also represent Nebraska at Big Ten Media Days starting Monday and was named to the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award Watch List this past Wednesday.
And although our 17 for '17 countdown has now come to a close, to get caught up with all of the biggest storylines for Nebraska heading into the 2017 campaign, omahasportsinsider.com is your source.
