After Nebraska's second spring practice, new Husker defensive coordinator met with the media for the first time this spring. And the energy he brings to the practice field carried over Tuesday afternoon.
"I'm excited. The guys seem super, super excited to learn and work to get better," Diaco said. "Everybody is just trying to learn."
The former UConn head coach also discussed how the current Huskers are adjusting to his new 3-4 defensive scheme.
"The guys are surely physically adept at doing the job we are going to ask them to do," Diaco said. "There's enough brain and fast action through diagnosis that is not going to be a limitation."
There are 13 more spring workouts left before Nebraska's spring game on April 15th.
