The temperature outside certainly feels like spring, and Saturday afternoon in Lincoln, Nebraska football was back on the practice field in its first of 15 workouts this spring.
All eyes were on two of the biggest storylines in a spring chalk full of big headlines: new defensive coordinator, Bob Diaco and the quarterback battle between Tulane transfer Tanner Lee and redshirt freshman Patrick O'Brien.
Diaco was fired up all over the practice field Saturday, leading his new defense in plenty of drills. The former UConn head coach did not speak to the media Saturday, but will speak after the Huskers' next spring workout, this upcoming Tuesday.
