Utter was a captain for the Huskers in 2016 and was a leader to the young Nebraska offensive line. He was originally a walk-on before earning a scholarship prior to the 2015 season.
The former Husker went undrafted in the 2017 NFL Draft, but was granted a tryout with the Vikings as a free agent following the draft.
