Former Husker and current Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Lavonte David was carted off the field with an apparent ankle injury during Sunday's game against the Vikings.
While the X-Ray's came back negative, David was still seen in crutches. ESPN reported that it is believed that David suffered a high-ankle sprain.

David was a First-Team All American and named the 2011 Big Ten Linebacker of the Year during his time with the Huskers.
The former Blackshirt was drafted by the Buccaneers in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
