Along the defensive line in Bob Diaco's new 3-4 defense, junior defensive lineman Freedom Akinmoladun will play a big role for Nebraska in 2017.
But one of the biggest questions when it comes to Freedom is how exactly do you pronounce his last name? Well, Freedom explains it easiest this way: "Akin-mula-doon".
Akinmoladun originally came to Nebraska a highly-recruited tight end, but has found his place on the other side of the ball. When asked if he could make the switch back to his old position:
"Oh, I don't know" Akinmoladun said. "If coach asks me to play a down like goal line series i might do it but if he says Freedom you're all time tight end, I'd leave that to [Tyler] Hoppes."
