Nearly one week into fall camp, the Nebraska offense feels plenty confident despite breaking in a new quarterback and younger receivers. After Thursday's practice, offensive coordinator Danny Langsdorf discussed how new signal caller Tanner Lee has become comfortable in NU's scheme.
"Tanner being a new guy for us but he was here all last year," Langsdorf said. "He hasn't played much for us but he's been around so I just think we've been able to challenge those guys with a lot of information and they've responded well."
Senior receiver De'Mornay Pierson-El believes there is a solid connection in the passing game between him and Lee.
"When we first came back into camp, it was just there," said Pierson-El. "It felt natural. I know where he's going to throw it, he knows where I'm going to be at and it's just pitch and catch."
