LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) Linebacker Willie Hampton is leaving the Nebraska football program. Hampton announced the news on Twitter late Tuesday night. 

Hampton was going into his 2nd year with the team after redshirting in 2017. The 6'1" 225 pounder came to NU from Plantation, Florida. According to our partners at the Omaha World-Herald, the Huskers are now at 83 scholarships of the maximum 85.
