The Nebraska football program has named Kevin Cristello the new Assistant Director of Football Operations. Cristello comes to Nebraska after spending the last six seasons with Eastern Kentucky.
Cristello will help with team travel and serve as a liaison to many different areas of the Nebraska athletics department. The Huskers also promoted Dan Van De Riet to Associate Athletics Director for Football Administration, but Billy Devaney will continue to oversee the personnel department.
Van De Riet served the past two seasons as the Huskers Associate Athletics Director of Football Operations.
At Eastern Kentucky, Cristello was in charge of booking team travel plans, coordinating summer camp activites, and assisting in day-to-day operations within the football program.
