The Mike Riley-led Huskers went into Evanston and took care of business tonight against Northwestern, coming out with a 24-13 victory.

Tommy Armstrong Jr. accounted for 246 yards through the air and 135 yards on the ground with no turnovers. The Huskers defense held Northwestern to 137 yards on the ground.

While Terrell Newby fumbled the ball on the third play of the game reaching over the pylon and Devine Ozigbo fumbled while going for the extra effort at the goal line, the Huskers also came up with two interceptions of their own.

Next week, Nebraska will take on Illinois during homecoming weekend at 2:30 p.m. at Memorial Stadium.
