Nebraska football adds three more primetime games to its schedule for the 2016 season. The Big Ten Network announced its primetime television schedule with the full schedule coming at a later date.
Nebraska opens the season in primetime at home against Fresno State Sept. 3. Kickoff for that game is scheduled for 7 p.m.
The Husker’s first conference matchup will be on Big Ten Network in primetime as well as they travel to take on Northwestern Sept. 24 at 6:30 p.m. Nebraska lost a 30-28 heartbreaker to Northwestern last season. The Wildcats finished the season ranked 23rd in the final AP Top 25 poll.
Nebraska will also take on Minnesota in primetime Nov. 12 at 6:30 p.m. Next season will be Tracy Claeys’ first season at the helm for Minnesota. Last season, the Huskers trounced Minnesota 48-25 on the road.
