Nebraska football is in front of Minnesota 28-8 after playing a nearly perfect first half of football on both sides of the ball.

Devine Ozigbo opened up the game with two long touchdown runs, one for 40 yards and another for 57 yards. Ozigbo heads into the half with 139 yards on just seven carries.

Adrian Martinez has had a great day both through the air and on the ground. The freshman quarterback has completed 16 of his 19 passes for 124 yards and a touchdown.

Martinez has also ran for 94 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. The lone Husker mistake came when Martinez fumbled the ball on an exchange with running back Maurice Washington.

The Huskers have improved drastically in the penalty category so far this game, with just one flag on an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty after Nebraska's last touchdown.

Sophomore wide receiver J.D. Spielman eclipsed the 100 career catch mark in the first half, becoming the first Husker to do so before their junior season. Spielman has seven catches for 68 yards and a touchdown on the day.
