Former Nebraska Husker middle linebacker Will Compton was a member of the team from 2008 to 2012. Compton ended his career as a Husker with several accomplishments including a total of 50 games including 37 starts. He racked up 247 tackles to rank him 12th on the Nebraska all-time tackles chart. Compton was a 2012 Nebraska Team Captain and 2012 Nebraska Defensive MVP. Compton first signed to the Redskins active roster in 2013 after being a part of the teams practice squad. He has appeared in a total of 33 regular season games for the Washington Redskins including 15 starts. Omaha native Niles Paul was a part of the Nebraska Husker Football roster from 2007 to 2010 playing a huge role as a receiver and return specialist.
