Tommy Armstrong spoke with the press following the Huskers 40-10 loss to the Iowa Hawkeyes. Nebraska finishes the season with a 9-3 overall record and a 6-3 record in the Big Ten.
Three big plays for the Hawkeyes busted things open early, including a 75-yard Akrum Wadley touchdown run and a 77-yard touchdown pass from C.J. Beathard. The run from Wadley and pass from Beathard were respectively the longest pass and run plays for Iowa all season long.
Things were all downhill from there, as the Huskers were out-gained on the ground by 174 yards. The Huskers rushed for just 90 yards. Overall, Iowa racked up 408 yards to Nebraska's 217.
Nebraska will have to wait until Dec. 4th to see which bowl game it will play in.
