Following a 63-yard punt return touchdown by Arkansas State's Blaise Taylor put the Red Wolves up 7-3, Nebraska had a return touchdown of its own.
Redshirt freshman JD Spielman caught the ensuing kickoff at the 1-yard-line and bursted through the middle almost untouched to score Nebraska's first touchdown of the season.
