Huskers receivers coach Keith Williams was sentenced to 30 days in jail Wednesday after pleading no contest for a third offense DUI.

Williams, however, can apply for house arrest. He is scheduled to report to jail to begin serving his sentence on March 3rd.

The 45-year-old was convicted of DUI in California in 2004 and 2009.

Williams was suspended for two weeks without pay following his arrest, and was not allowed to coach the first four games of the season.

The university athletic department released the following statement: "The Nebraska Athletics Department is aware of Keith Williams' court appearance and sentencing in the Lancaster County Court this afternoon. Since the incident in August, Keith has accepted responsibility for and acknowledged the seriousness of his actions, and we will continue to support him."
