The Nebraska men's basketball team struggled from beyond the arc while Iowa lit it up from downtown as the Huskers fell to the Hawkeyes, 81-70, Sunday afternoon in Iowa City.

NU shot just 3 of 20 from the three point line while Fran McCaffery's club went 9 of 19.

Glynn Watson, Jr. did not start for the Big Red because of a groin injury & only played 18 minutes in the loss. Jack McVeigh scored a game-high 16 points for Nebraska.

The Huskers are now 10-13 overall and 4-7 in Big Ten play while Iowa improved to 14-10 overall and 6-5 in the league.

Nebraska hosts Wisconsin Thursday at 8 p.m. on BTN.
