The Nebraska basketball team did not have the ending to the regular season that it had hoped for. The Huskers were blown out at home against Michigan 93-57 in senior point guard Tai Webster's final home game.
Webster only managed to score eight points on 4-10 from the field. Nebraska shot just 41.2 percent from the field and made only two of its 15 attempted three pointers.
The Huskers had just two players in double figures as Ed Morrow Jr. and Isaiah Roby each scored 10 points. As a team, Nebraska turned the ball over a total of 16 times, compared to Michigan's 10 turnovers.
After the Huskers loss at Michigan, Nebraska drops to the No. 12 seed in the Big Ten Tournament and will have to face off against Penn State in the play-in round.
Tipoff for the Huskers Big Ten tournament game against Penn State is set for 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. The winner of that game will face off against No. 5 seed Michigan State in the first round Thursday at 1:30 p.m.
