After starting out 3-0 in Big Ten play, the Nebraska men's basketball team has dropped seven of its last eight games. The Huskers have a chance to bounce back Thursday against conference leader No. 7 Wisconsin.

With Ed Morrow still out and Glynn Watson Jr. playing limited minutes with a groin injury, the Huskers fell to Iowa Sunday 81-70. Wisconsin is coming into its game against Nebraska on a seven game winning-streak after a 65-60 home win over Indiana Sunday.

Miles said during his press conference Wednesday that both Watson and Morrow are day-to-day and will be reevaluated before Thursdays game. Both have particiapted in practice this week.

With Nebraska being shorthanded, Jack McVeigh has stepped up in recent games, averaging 13 points per game in the last five games. McVeigh has shot 49-percent from the field and 41-percent from three point range during that stretch as well.

Tai Webster is still the Huskers main scoring threat. Webster became the program's 28th 1,000 point scorer after his 14-point performance in Sunday's loss to Iowa.

Nebraska will need to slow down the Badgers' Ethan Happ who leads the team in scoring with 14.9 points per game and in rebounding with an impressive 9.1 boards per game.

The last time the two teams met was in the second round of the 2016 Big Ten Conference Tournament. The 11th-seeded Huskers came away with a 70-58 win over the sixth-seeded badgers.
