The Nebraska basketball team beat Sacramento State in its season opener Sunday night, 83-61. The Huskers were led by Glynn Watson, who scored a career-high 23 points.
NU led by just three at the half but then turned it on in the 2nd to outscore Sacramento State, 47-28. Ed Morrow, Junior also had a career-high 15 points. Nebraska's sophomores scored 54 of the Huskers' 83 points. The Big Red is back in action Tuesday against University of Mary starting at 7 PM.
