Just after the Huskers ended their season with a 76-67 overtime loss to Penn State in the Big Ten Tournament, the long awaited comment from Nebraska Athletic Director Shawn Eichorst on the future of head basketball coach Tim Miles came.
Eichorst said in a tweet just after the game, "Look forward to next season of @HuskerHoops under @CoachMiles leadership...the future is bright! GBR!"

There has been a lot of speculation regarding the future of Miles as Nebraska finished the season with five straight losses, including blowout losses to Michigan and Illinois. However, Eichorst seems to have put that speculation to rest.
