Nebraska men's basketball on the road to take on Michigan State Thursday

The Nebraska men's basketball team will try to keep momentum going as it heads to East Lansing to take on Michigan State Thursday. 

The Huskers' are coming off of two wins, one at home against Penn State and the other on the road against Ohio State. 

Nebraska fought hard to come out with the win Saturday over Ohio State. The Huskers trailed 57-52 with only 30.6 seconds remaining. Nebraska's Jack McVeigh hit a 3-pointer to cut the deficit to two, the Huskers defensive stop and a 3-pointer added by Glynn Watson sealed the 58-57 victory. 

Nebraska's Tai Webster led four Huskers in double-figures with 17 points. In conference play, Webster ranks second in scoring. 

Michigan State recently lost to Purdue 80-63 Saturday in Indiana. Spartan's Miles Bridges led the team with 14 while Matt McQuaid finished with 11 points. 

Earlier this season the Spartan's snapped the Huskers three-game win streak with a 72-61 victory at Pinnacle Bank Arena. 

Nebraska (12-14, 6-8 Big Ten) takes on Michigan State (16-11, 8-6 Big Ten) Thursday, Feb. 22nd. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. CST at Berslin Center.
