Both the Nebraska men's and women's basketball teams have games at Pinnacle Bank Arena this weekend. The Nebraska men face-off against the South Dakota Coyotes, while the Nebraska women have a matchup with the undefeated California Golden Bears.
The Nebraska men's team comes into it's matchup with South Dakota with a 4-3 record, while the Coyotes hold a 6-3 record. This will be the Huskers' first home game in two weeks as they have traveled 5,200 miles since Nov. 22.
Nebraska Head Coach Tim Miles will face off against one of his former assistant coaches Craig Smith. Smith spent two years at Nebraska with Miles, including in 2014 when the Huskers made the NCAA Tournament.
The Nebraska women's team will try to get back on track against Cal after losing three straight games. The Huskers faced off against Cal last year on the road and suffered an 87-80 loss in overtime.
The matchup with the Bears continues the Nebraska women's tough non-conference schedule. All eight of the Huskers' opponents so far this season carry a record above .500.
