The Nebraska volleyball team will begin the 2017 season in August with matches against Oregon and Florida. The matches will be played in Gainesville, Florida as a part of the VERT Challenge.
The Huskers will face Florida Saturday, Aug. 26th and then will go against Oregon the following day. This doesn't mark the first time Nebraska has seen either of these teams. Last year the Huskers beat the Gators 3-1 and in 2015 Nebraska beat the Ducks 3-2.
The 2017 VERT Challenge will be the third edition of the four-team tournaments that also includes Texas.
Friday, Aug. 25- Florida will face Texas while Nebraska faces Oregon and the following day Florida takes on Nebraska and Oregon goes against Texas.
Nebraska is set to host the VERT Challenge in 2018.
