Nebraska volleyball preparing for first round of NCAA Tournament

The Nebraska volleyball team held practice this evening ahead of its first round matchup with New Hampshire in the NCAA Tournament. The Huskers are looking to repeat as National Champions, something Nebraska volleyball has never done.

"It feels like it's a new season, and I'm hoping we're going to have a second burst of energy and excitement," Nebraska Volleyball Head Coach John Cook said.

Senior outside hitter Kadie Rolfzen said the survive-and-advance aspect of the NCAA Tournament makes things a little more challenging for the Huskers.

"Lose now and you go home," Rolfzen said. "I think we just all know that we have that mindset that we're going to go out there and we're going to play well. We just have to get after it and just be ready to go from the get-go on Friday."

The first serve for Nebraska's matchup with New Hampshire is set for 7 p.m. at the Devaney Center in Lincoln.
