Husker Nation can breathe a sigh of relief. The Huskers pulled off a miraculous comeback to beat the Penn State Nittany Lions 3-2 in the Regional semifinal of the NCAA Tournament.
The Huskers fell behind 2-0 and faced two match-points in the third set, but rallied back and won the third set 26-24, the fourth set 25-19 and the fifth set 15-6.
Briana Holman led the Huskers in kills with 17. Kadie Rolfzen and Justine Wong-ornatez led the team with 18 digs a piece. Rolfzen also added 14 kills.
The Huskers will face the winner of Arizona and No. 8 seeded Washington tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. at the Devaney Center in Lincoln.
