In its final game of the regular season, Omaha was shut out by No. 1 Denver at Baxter Arena, 3-0. On senior night for three Mavericks, the Pioneers scored the first goal of the game in the second period and added two more in the third to cap off a weekend sweep over UNO.
Omaha is back on the ice Friday night in the NCHC tournament.
