The University of Nebraska Omaha men's basketball team picked up a huge 98-89 win over the Iowa Hawkeyes. The Mavericks recorded their first win over a Power 5 school and first triumph over a Big Ten team.
Omaha's Zach Jackson scored a career-high 21 points along with eight rebounds and three assists.
Tre'Shawn Thurman tallied 17 points, team-high nine rebounds and a season-high 11 assists.
Tra-Deon Hollins recorded his first double-double of the season and the third of his career with 12 points and a season-high 11 assists.
