The UNO men's basketball team grinded out an 84-83 win over Denver thanks to a last-second shot from sophomore forward Mitch Hahn. The Mavericks now sit at 15-13 overall and 8-7 in Summit League play, putting Omaha in a tie for third place in the conference.

Omaha's leading scorer Marcus Tyus had another 30-point performance, his fifth of the season. Tyus was able to drain six of his eight attempted three-point shots in the game.

Tra-Deon Hollins was able to dish out a game-high 10 assists and a game-best six steals. Hahn recorded eight points, including the two most important of the game.

Coming out of a timeout with the Mavs trailing 83-82 with 12 seconds remaining, Tyus drove the middle of the paint and handed the ball to Hahn. Hahn was able to get a floater off before the clock expired as it fell through with just .7 seconds left.

UNO's season finale is Saturday, Feb. 25 when the Mavs host North Dakota State on Senior Night. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. at Baxter Arena. This game marks the final home game for seniors Tyus, Hollins and Kyler Erickson.
