In the Mavericks first ever NCAA Tournament game in program history, UNO men's soccer fell to Florida International Thursday night, 2-0.
FIU scored within the first minute of the game to take an early 1-0 lead, and added a second goal later in the first half to take a 2-0 advantage over Omaha.
The Mavs actually outshot the Panthers (13-6) Thursday night in Miami, but couldn't find the back of the net in the loss to Florida International.
UNO ends its historic season at 10-6-3 overall.
