The Nebraska wrestling team finished the weekend with a 30-6 win over North Carolina Saturday afternoon.
Huskers' Tim Lambert ranked eighth at 125 pounds. He opened the dual with a first-period pin over James Szymanski. Nebraska's Eric Montoya (133-pounds) and TJ Dudley (184-pounds) also produced bonus-point victories.
Montoya finished fourth at 133 pounds after winning by a major decision against Tyrone Klump. Dudley ranked third at 184 pounds with an 18-1 technical fall over Elijah Kerr-Brown.
Nebraska's Collin Purinton (149-pounds), No. 5 Tyler Berger (157-pounds) and Dustin Williams (165-pounds) gave the Huskers three-consecutive wins to help build a 19-3 advantage. Berger improved to 16-0 this season after his 3-1 win over Joey Moon.
No. 7 Nebraska returns to action December 29-30 at the Midlands Championships at Welsh-Ryan Arena in Evanston, Illinois.
