Golfers with Nebraska ties, now is your chance to compete for a spot in the Web.com Tour Pinnacle Bank Championship and a share of the $600,000 purse.

The Pinnacle Bank Championship has announced that the regional qualifier rounds for the Pinnacle Bank Championship will be held at Riverside Golf Club in Grand Island May 31 and Wilderness Ridge Golf Club in Lincoln June 22.

The top 20 players from each of those regional events will compete in the final qualifier at ArborLinks in Nebraska City July 6. The winner of that 18-hole qualifier will earn an exemption into the 2017 Web.com Tour Pinnacle Bank Championship.

Pinnacle Bank President Marc Hock said this is a great opportunity for golfers with Nebraska ties to gain recognition on a larger stage.

“Part of the excitement of this tournament is the opportunity for those Cinderella moments,” Hock said.  “We’re thrilled to be able to give great golfers from our Nebraska community a shot at making it onto the national stage.”

In order to qualify, professional or amateur golfers must have a handicap index of 4.0 or less and must be a current legal resident of Nebraska, Nebraska Section PGA member or apprentice, student or graduate of a Nebraska college or university, or an individual born in Nebraska and graduated from a Nebraska high school.

Each qualifier is limited to the first 144 entrants. The entry deadline is May 24 for the Riverside qualifier and June 14 for the Wilderness Ridge qualifier.

The Pinnacle Bank Championship will be held July 17-23 at the Club at Indian Creek. For more information about the Pinnacle Bank Championship, visit thepinnaclebankchampionship.com
