In one of the District A-7 semifinals on Saturday evening, Millard South avoided an upset to Fremont and rallied late in the fourth quarter for the 54-49 win over the Tigers. The Patriots' Kyle Perry scored 18 of his game-high 22 points in the second half to propel Millard South to the victory.
The Patriots will now face Lincoln Pius X in the district final Monday night.
