Norfolk Takes Home 1st State Title in 30 Years

Trailing heading into the halftime locker room, Norfolk used an 11-0 run to open up the third quarter to win the Panthers' first state title in 30 years, over Papillion-La Vista, 68-49 final.

Norfolk was led by a game-high 18 points from Lane McCallum and also got 12 point and 17 rebounds from Logan Strom.  The Monarchs were led by 16 points from UNO hoops commit, Ayo Akinwole.  Papio's Ed Chang, playing with a sprained left ankle, posted 10 points.

Norfolk finishes the season at 23-3, while Papillion-La Vista ends the year at 24-5 overall.
