A night after knocking off unbeaten Creighton Prep to get to the Metro Holiday final, Omaha Central continued its hot streak, beating Omaha Burke, 64-55 to claim the Metro Holiday Tournament title Thursday night at Ralston Arena.
"We knew we had to come into the Holiday tournament and play strong," said Roman Behrens, senior guard for Omaha Central. "It was a good chance for us to establish ourselves and just give us momentum for the rest of the year."
