The Elkhorn South football team is coming off its first state title in program history. The Storm captured the Class B crown last November thanks in part to Moses Bryant. The 5'11" running back is considered to be one of the best players in the state in 2017.
"I've worked on my speed and my strength and I've gotten bigger since last year," Bryant said. "I think that's going to help."
Bryant is just one of three returning starters on offense.
"For sure, he's the leader of our offense and we just try to do what we can to complement him," said senior wide receiver Mick Williams.
"Moses has the complete package," said head coach Guy Rosenberg. "He's got speed, elusiveness, vision. Also can run with power, can run between the tackles, can run outside. I think the thing that makes him extremely dangerous is being able to run the whole route tree as a receiver."
The Storm return five starters on the defensive side of the ball. The defending champs open the season at home Friday August 25 against York.
